Athulya (she/her) is an Instructional Designer and illustrator. She brings her passion and knowledge of art, design and communication to develop modules, workshop material and worksheets for use, both in-person and virtually. As an instructional designer, Athulya has designed courses and teaching materials incorporating adult learning methods for instructor-led, blended, and online modes of learning.

Carrying a project through from its inception to completion, she supports training strategies from needs analysis to design + development, to facilitation and reporting using tried and tested evaluation methods. She also has a keen interest in incorporating gamification principles + elements to devise innovative learning strategies.

As an immigrant herself, from the south of the Indian sub-continent, she hopes to use her talents, passion and learning to be a champion for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, especially in the immigrant community.

Athulya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication and a Master’s Degree in Communication. She is also currently attending the Dignity Institute Training by the Thrivance Group that focuses on Dignity Infused Community Engagement and occasionally volunteers as an illustrator for the Urbanarium Society and their Studio Sessions.
