Shelley-Anne Vidal


Shelley is a professional facilitator, advocate and compassionate leader who approaches life with a curiosity and an open mind. In 2009, Shelley began facilitating workshops to First Nations communities, international professionals, youth, and post-secondary students. She then moved on to become a college instructor and a community facilitator. Shelley considers herself a lifelong learner and knowledge seeker who enjoys work in the areas of intercultural leadership, intercultural communication, social justice, anti-racism and how we can bring communities together.

Shelley has a Masters in Higher Education Administration and Leadership, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Sociology. She also has a BC Provincial Instructor Diploma in Adult Education, a Career Development Practitioner Certificate and is in her final course in the UBC Certificate in Intercultural Studies (CIS) Program.

Shelley is also a Board Member for the National Congress of Black Women Foundation and an active member at the Federation of Black Canadians.
